HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT
The HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT is a Japan-based project that began in 2020. It was inspired by a renewed appreciation for the importance and freedom of personal indoor spaces during the stay-at-home period caused by the pandemic. The concept aims to explore new possibilities for living environments by combining the principles of home economics with experimental production methods and a focus on sustainability. They offer very limited, one-of-a-kind items that add new value by transforming discarded materials and used furniture—such as chairs, mirrors, and lamps—along with unique everyday products made from original fabrics.
